As we proceed onto a new playing field, in the entertainment industry, we are suddenly hit on all sides – economic recovery, re-education, re-tooling and re-evaluation of our standards for creating commercially viable content. The dust is barely settling from the latest announcements that the recession is just about over; when we’re faced with even more thought provoking quandaries.
Should we re-embrace the commerce tool of our lifetime, radio, as so many traditionalist businesses, once on the out, now seemingly, back “in”, find new validation for acquiescing to the earlier barker days of “terrestrial radio”. Certainly something to take note of. Perhaps by strengthening; with new knowledge, new methods and ideology, we can satisfy analyst number crunchers and steadfast, died in the wool, traditionalist – striking some kind of a well reasoned balance that addresses both in a fair and well reasoned manner. Let the chips fall where they may. They’re going to anyway! Anyone got a banana?
The only one thing that is definitely for certain is that the future of relative Internet commerce hangs in the balance, shifting, waiting and getting as impatient as an 800 pound gorilla sitting in the middle of the room. Of course there will always be a need for traditional education instruction to help shape young minds into the finest physicians, scientist, inventors and judges that are sure to become even more prolific stalwarts of societies, as the complexities of societal life grow more intense. By taking into account the proliferation of an artform such as Hip Hop as had on socities throughout the world, over the past 25 years or so, is it no wonder that both Hip Hop and cultural, global growth of the Internet has shared a major part of the “stage” in the conciousness of many people in societies throughout the world.
Talent competiting for work throughout the world!
